Depending on who and when you ask, the freeglut license has been called "the MIT license" or the "XFree86 license". I am taking the (as of early 2005) official freeglut web site as the final word on this and direct the reader to the MIT license as defined on SourceForge. freeglut has had adequate time to correct that if it was in error.
